Educational evaluation and clinical simulation have been transformed in recent decades according to the social context, culture, educational and political system of our country. Remote simulation already existed prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, however, it did not have the same boom as face-to-face simulation. In the same way, distance evaluation was little known in educational institutions. Currently, evaluation is essential in educational programs including those with hybrid models; and is not only carried out on site at the institution, but also uses technological resources
to be able to be implemented remotely, and that is why the advantages and disadvantages of using it, through distance simulation must be assessed by the institution, the academic program, school grade, skills, objectives and learning outcomes.
